Chippenham, UK - 5 November 2009.
Deltenna announced today that it has received ISO 9001:2008
certification, an internationally recognized standard for quality
management systems. Deltenna has held ISO 9001:2000 certification
for the last three years. Deltenna was assessed by Lloyd's Register
Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA) for the design and manufacture of
standard and custom radio products for the wireless communications
industry.
"Deltenna may be a relatively small
company and does not suffer the constraints of many bigger
companies" said Deltenna CEO, Andrew Fox, "but that doesn't mean
compromising on quality. Our customers come to us looking for
innovative solutions, and having the right Quality Management
System in place means that we quickly turn our ideas into products
that they can rely on".
Deltenna specialises in integrated
radio and antenna solutions for mobile network base-stations and
other remote sensing applications. Its products are deployed
throughout the world in some of the most advanced wireless
communications systems in operation today. Deltenna likes to turn
traditional thinking on its head, creating integrated radio
products that improve performance but reduce the environmental
impact and cost less at the same time.
John Slape, LRQA assessor recognised
the company's commitment to quality in its research, development
and manufacturing: "It's a pleasure to work with small companies
that have a passion for doing things differently but can still keep
their feet firmly on the ground when it comes to quality
management", he said.
